What the two numbers mean
A profile is two lines. The first comes from your conscious Sun, the position at the moment you were born, and it is the part you recognise in yourself. The second comes from your design Sun, a point about three months earlier, and it is the part other people see before you do.
Living as a 1/3

Only twelve of the thirty-six possible pairings occur, because the two Suns sit a fixed distance apart. That is why you will never meet a 1/5 or a 2/6.
Profile is not type
The profile is the costume; the type is the engine underneath it. A 6/2 Generator and a 6/2 Projector share a way of moving through life and almost nothing about how they should make decisions.
