What a 11 is
Eleven is the first master number: the intuitive channel. It carries the sensitivity of the 2 with a much higher charge, which tends to show up as vision, nervous-system intensity, and an ability to see what a group is feeling before the group does.

A life path comes from the whole date of birth. Reduce the month, the day and the year each to a single digit, then add the three and reduce again, keeping 11, 22 and 33 whenever they appear.
Month 1 reduces to 1, day 5 to 5, year 1985 to 5. Then 1 + 5 + 5 = 11, which reduces to 11.
